Open Braindex on your phone, go to Settings → Delete account, and tap Delete. Your profile and account data are removed immediately. If you can’t access the app, email us at david@movietoons.co and we’ll delete your data within 30 days.
What is Braindex?
Braindex is a daily AI vocabulary game published by Braindex on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This page explains how to permanently delete your Braindex account and the data we hold about you.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open Braindex on your phone (iOS or Android).
- Tap the person icon in the top-right of the home screen to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of Settings.
- Tap Delete account (shown in red).
- Confirm the prompt. Your account and the data listed below are deleted immediately.
You don’t need to email us — the in-app delete is the fastest and most direct path.
How to request deletion if you can’t access the app
If you’ve uninstalled the app or can’t sign in, email us from the address tied to your Braindex account:
Include in the email:
- The email address you used to sign in to Braindex (Apple, Google, or email/password)
- Your in-app display name, if you remember it
- Approximate date you started using Braindex (helps us locate the account if you used a private-relay Apple ID)
We will process the request and confirm by reply within 30 days (typically within 1–3 business days).
What is deleted, and what is kept

For complete erasure — including leaderboard rows, streak entries, per-word logs, feedback, and any newsletter record — the cleanest path is: (1) delete your account in-app to wipe your profile and revoke your Apple token immediately, then (2) email david@movietoons.co asking us to remove the remaining records. We process those within 30 days.
Apple Sign-In specifically
If you signed in with Apple, deleting your account inside Braindex also revokes the authorization token Apple issued for our app, per Apple App Store guideline 5.1.1(v). You will no longer see Braindex listed under Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple on your iPhone after a few minutes.
Children’s data
Braindex does not request email or phone number from users who indicate they are under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and want a child’s account deleted, email david@movietoons.co with the child’s in-app display name and any other identifying details. We will delete the account within 30 days.
